Court Rules

Tennis & Pickleball Courts

The LCRA maintains 3 courts for the purposes of tennis and pickleball. The tennis nets are always kept up; there are six moveable pickleball nets that may be moved around on the courts as needed for pickleball. The tennis courts are subject to seasonal closures based on levels of snow and ice; they may also be closed without notice for repairs, maintenance, and upgrades.

All individuals using the courts must adhere to the below rules:

  • To mitigate limitations on space, only three (3) guests per member are permitted to be on the courts at any given time (this rule is to be effective July 3, 2023).
  • Outside of program bookings (lessons) and designated sport-groups, the courts operate on a “First-Come, First-Served” basis.
  • Groups with court reservations MUST keep Court 3 clear at all times, even if empty, to allow priority access for members that are not involved in the group reservation.
  • The courts may be used for 30 minutes at a time, at which point users must yield to anyone who may be waiting.
  • The usage of all courts is limited to tennis and pickleball only.
  • Black-soled or hard-soled shoes are prohibited while on the courts.
  • Chairs, tables, and other hard objects are not permitted on the courts.
