Function Room

  • The downstairs function room is available for rental at an additional cost. Contact the office for information and to book, at 403-254-4148. You must make your booking during our office hours in person. Residents and non-residents may rent the room and it is rented on a first come first serve basis.
    • Approval of a rental application is dependent upon room availability. Booking requests for use after park hours must be made no later than one month in advance.
    • Proof of additional liability insurance is optional for all facility bookings.
  • The maximum capacity for the recreation room is 60 persons. A guest list is required on the day of the event.
  • Please be advised that the building and park is an alcohol and smoke-free environment. Alcoholic beverages are NOT permitted in the function room or park/lake at any time. Any/all violators will be asked to leave.
  • A damage deposit cheque is required for all rentals; in case of damage to ANY lake property.
  • The person making the booking is also responsible for any other charges (i.e. Fees incurred by noise Bylaw infractions, Fire Department dispatch, false alarms, etc.).
  • Residents rental rate $30.00 + GST per hour
  • Non-resident rental rate $45.00 + GST per hour
  • There are no refunds for cancellations, as well as no transfers or credit.


  • Cookshacks are available to be booked for daily use. All bookings must be made in person at the office.
  • All rentals are available on a first-come-first-serve basis.
  • A guest list is required for all bookings. Please contact the facility office at 403-254-4148 for more information.
  • Briquette use only is permitted in park barbecues. LCRA asks that bookings leave coals for staff to dispose of safely.

  • Please note:
    • 50 guests Maximum, including hosts
    • Cookshacks reservations are only available for Lake Chaparral Residents.
    • Bookings will be canceled if membership fees for the current year have not yet been paid.
    • Booking can only be booked up until 30 minutes prior to park closing time.
    • Absolutely NO tape or staples to be used on Cookshacks.
    • Bookings must be made at least 24 hours prior to the time of the booking.
    • A guest list including all guest’s first and last names must be submitted to [email protected] at least 24 hours prior to booking.
    • No alcohol/liquor/glass/smoking is permitted in the park at any time.
    • There are no refunds for cancellations, as well as no transfers or credit.
    • *Please note our hours change throughout the year/season*
